SMART SYSTEMS INTEGRATION 2011

The 5th SMART SYSTEMS INTEGRATION Conference and Exhibition, SSI 2011, addresses applications as well as fundamental features, and will provide a snapshot of the European work in this field. Special emphasis is given to best practice examples in the EPoSS (European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration) session on the first day as well as in the other application oriented sessions, “Medtech” and “Smart Communication” on the second conference day. In order to develop and manufacture reliable, multifunctional, energy autonomous smart systems it is necessary to develop and evaluate technologies, materials, designs, components, packaging and integration as well as whole systems. Integrating different components through 3D integration is currently a hot topic globally. A special Tutorial will give an overview of this topic.
