Abstract:
In this paper, single-layer coupled FSS reflection type-structures for reflectarrays are investigated resulting in an increased phase range and smaller slope of the phase angle as a function of structure size. Their improved performance is also demonstrated with three test reflectarray antennas using the novel structures.
