Abstract:
For the revealing of seasonal peculiarities of pine forest in L and P bands the measurements of moisture content in trunks, branches and needles were performed during 10 months from September to July. It is shown that strong variations of pine elements moisture occur in cold period. The modelling calculations of radar forest reflectivity were carried out. An attempt is made to explain seasonal peculiarities of radar reflectivity of pine forest in L and P bands by the character of moisture varitation.
