Control-Administrator

The "Control-Administrator" guideline represents a further development of the VDE FNN guideline "Control-Box Administrator" from 2024, which had already established guidelines and specific recommendations for performing this role.

With the expansion of control options to include the possibility of control via SMGW, VDE FNN has updated the definition of the "Control Box Administrator" (STB-A) to "Control Administrator" (ST-A) and describes the necessary adjustments in this document.

The updated guidance on control administration comprehensively describes the function of the meter operator, taking into account important enhancements such as the option to control directly from the smart meter gateway, the residual profile, and other developments over the past 1.5 years.
