This International Standard applies to Source Switching Equipment, hereafter referred to as SSE(s), for household and similar uses intended to be installed in low voltage electrical installations with local production and/or storage of energy to ensure the compatibility with the existing and future ways to deliver the electrical energy to current-using equipment or the public network. SSEs are primarily intended to be used for Energy Efficiency purposes.
