This document specifies a method for the determination of the content of halogens in Cable Management Systems (CMS) components or products made of polymeric material(s). The determination is made by combustion and subsequent analysis of the combustion product by Ion Chromatography. This standard specifies how CMs components or products can be declared as halogen free.
