Inhalt:
We use features of the mobile radio channel in order to identify and classify situations and activities. We show that the pressure, position, count and activity of people can be identified based on the root mean square, signal to noise ratio and the average magnitude squared of a received radio signal. The situation awareness was demonstrated in case studies with software radios. Various frequency bands and locations are considered.
