Abstract:
Compared to generators and mechanical frequency converters, static frequency converters have no rotating mass and can't be overloaded. In this work converter control and stability of the 110 kV railway grid with the increasing use of frequency converter are investigated by digital dynamic simulations. Results and models of the simulations are presented.
