Abstract:
This paper summarizes the design and implementation of a new wireless smart sensor which works as a data capturing system with and identifying component. This sensor uses RFID technology in order to meet operation specifications. It has been specially designed to assure the traceability of products which require specific transportation and storage conditions and those which require continuous properties monitoring. Apart from the sensor, the development of a reader with a data treatment and manipulation computer is also offered.
