An overview of analog and RF design concepts in silicon process technologies at mmWave and THz frequencies is presented. This includes receiver architectures and circuit building blocks such as Schottky diode mixers and power amplifiers. Passive circuit elements such as inductors, transmission lines and on-chip antennas are presented which complement monolithically integrated mmWave and THz receiver front-ends.
