Abstract:
In this paper, the first investigation of Pol-InSAR in bistatic configuration is presented. Numerical Simulations are carried out by means of MIPERS, Multistatic Interferometric Polarimetric Electromagneticmodel for Remote Sensing which has already proved many abilities. This model involves a descriptive description of the natural media and enables us to foresee forest scattering with fully polarimetric and interferometric outputs whatever the bistatic angle. Then, attaching importance to the feasibility of the configuration - in terms of resolution, critical baseline, SAR signal and height ambiguities - new configurations for Pol-InSAR applications are envisioned.
