Abstract:
In this paper a general overview of bistatic SAR interferometry with fixed-recevier configurations is presented. General expressions for the interferometric phase and image resolutions are summarized for two particular acquisition geometries: back-scattering and forward-scattering. The particularities of the bistatic geocoding are also addressed. The theoretical developments are complemented with the comparison of the Digital Elevation Models (DEM) generated from the bistatic interferometric data acquired with SABRINA with a SRTM DEM and a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) from the Institut Cartografic de Catalunya (ICC).
