Abstract:
This presentation gives an overview of the latest PolInSAR campaign at X band acquired with the ONERA RAMSES system in 2006 over several types of man-made landscape, ranging from a loosely built industrial zone to an extremely dense European city centre. The calibration procedure specifically aimed at PolInSAR data will be presented. The validation of this calibration will then be demonstrated and finally the phenomenology of PolInSAR data over urban structures will be summarised and examples extracted from this dataset will be presented and compared to a ground truth.
