Abstract:
The actuality of the problem of the Earth remote sensing (ERS) stipulated development of a number of various radar systems aimed at the solution of different ERS problems, including the above surface ERS (usually beginning with the centimeter waves and up to an optical band). Moreover, the significance of the ERS using the radio waves penetrating into the Earth subsurface layers is steadily growing. Some works research the impact of various factors on the resolution capability and the accuracy achieved by the ERS systems. Still, as it is clear from the available works, there has been done an insufficient research of the impact provided by the Doppler effect on formation of the synthetic antenna directional pattern (ADP). The given work deals with research of the Doppler effect impact on the SAR ADP deformation.
