Abstract:
Circular Synthetic Aperture Radar (CSAR) is a kind of SAR moving in a circular trajectory to get full 360º aspect angle observation to the concerned scene. Full aspect angle makes CSAR has the ability to obtain high resolution image even with single frequency. This paper analyses CSAR imaging with single-frequency. The point spread function of ideal point target is analyzed and formulated. The differences of CSAR between using single and certain-bandwidth signal are compared and computer simulations are presented to verify the imaging capability of CSAR with single frequency.
