Abstract:
The method for suppression of spurious signals in radar images that are caused by azimuth (Doppler's) ambiguities is offered. This method use features of peak and phase characteristics of complex Impulse Response Function (IRF) of wideband Synthetic Aperture Radars (SAR) in zones of Doppler's ambiguities lobes. The method allows to provide full suppression of spurious ambiguity signals within arbitrary located linear area of Doppler's ambiguity zone and is realized by special processing of echo signal. Efficiency of this method has been verified by results of processing the real radar raw data from wideband airborne L-band SAR "Compact-L".
