Abstract:
A SAR image quality assessment method using FFT interpolation is presented by taking into account the real clutter background environment. For the evaluation of this method, the real background patch data is extracted from the uniform area of the actual operating SAR system, and then the impulse response of the SAR image pixel is assessed by using this method with real clutter patch data. The proposed method can be used for the analysis of SAR image quality as well as optimization of SAR system parameters.
