Abstract:
The possibility of the electromagnetic vertical profile structure investigation using 4mm wavelength coherent pulse radar and inclined reference corner reflector moving is considered. The method of corner reflector coordinate position determination with respect to Doppler frequency translation of the signal scattered from the corner is proposed. This method is characterized by vertical profile reconstruction of the field scattered from the corner. The number and coordinates of reflection spots are determined, as is the reflection spot lifetime on the diffuse reflecting sea surface. To this end a spectral analysis of the received signal is performed.
