Abstract:
Wind turbine drivetrains are complex and its components are strong constrained. The fundamental understanding of interactions between components and the meaning too reliability and safety of the components are one of the big challenges within the engineering community of wind turbine business. The ADTS-team has shown a general opportunity of engineering partnership that leads to suitable advanced design processes for the daily business of wind turbine drivetrain development. One of the benefits of engineering processes through the whole supply chain is the advantage that each partner is able to adopt his full core competence to the whole task.
