Abstract:
We simultaneously estimate the values of residual CD, DGD and OSNR from FIR filter coefficients in coherent receivers with digital equalization. Precise estimations over a wide range are demonstrated on measured 111Gbit/s CP-QPSK data with off-line processing on a PC.
