Abstract:
In this paper we discuss the support of streaming traffic over the enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH). We provide performance results that have been obtained using a dynamic network simulation tool. We show that for the given traffic scenario two different methods exist to support streaming traffic with equivalent performance. In particular, scheduled transmission offers a viable option to implement streaming traffic with reasonable development effort.
