This paper discusses the design of a miniaturised Frequency Selective Surface (FSS). The FSS uses lumped inductors and capacitors in conjunction with a triangular metallic structure. Simulations of the important design variables are presented and a unit cell size of λ/18 is proposed. Measurements in a waveguide simulator validate the performance.
