Abstract:
The topic of this paper is the narrow band antenna efficiency measurement. Two test beds are investigated and compared namely the Reverberation Chamber (RC) and the UWB Wheeler Cap (UWB WCap). The RC, first designed for EMC measurements, is able to measure almost any kinds of antennas with control uncertainty. The second one designed for very broadband systems, can also be accurate for narrow band antennas. Results are given to assess uncertainty and accuracy of both measurement means.
