Abstract:
High-performance circular corrugated horns for full V-Band (50 to 75 GHz) coverage are presented. Computer optimization was mandatory to cope with the manufacturing requirement for a tolerance-insensitive design exhibiting only comparatively few, but wide slots. Close agreement was obtained between theory and measurements performed with a prototype horn in a compensated compact antenna test range.
