Abstract:
In this paper, we present a Meandered Planar Inverted-F Antenna (MPIFA) with a small ground plane dedicated to be associated with a Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) sensor and positioned in a cavity for temperature wireless measurements. A capacitive technique is proposed to feed the MPIFA and increase its bandwidth. The design of the antenna is presented as well as wireless interrogation results of the temperature sensor.
