In This paper, we present the design of an electromagnetic band gap (EBG) resonator antenna, which operates in two different frequency bands. This property can be applied to any dual band radio telecommunication network, such as space applications which require up .and down links operating under two different frequency sub-bands (for example ka-band: TX 29-30 GHz, RX 19-20 GHz).
