Abstract:
Recently, the traditional air-fed antennas constructed from metallic curved reflector or dielectric curved lens are stealthily replaced by the printed air-fed antennas with planar physical aperture and proper phase compensation techniques. In this paper, the research progress of various printed air-fed antennas with some discovery or renovation mainly in SEU (Southeast University) is reported in sequence. There is a flourishing family of printed air-fed antennas includes the Fresnel Zone Plate, the Reflect-array, the Transmit-array, the Fabry-Perot Resonator, and the Compound air-fed Array.
