Abstract:
We demonstrate 4×4 optical packet switching for 10-Gb/s, asynchronous burst optical packets with a 4×4 label processing and switching sub-system prototype. Error-free operation (BER<10-12) is achieved simultaneously for all 16 I/O (input/output) combinations.
