Abstract:
Realizations of 100-1000Gb/s CO-OFDM are hindered by electronic ADC/DAC rates. By (de)multiplexing the OFDM sub-bands by means of optical-comb generators with repetition rate matched to subband separation, we eliminate complex RF up/down-converters and relieve ADC/DAC requirements.
