Abstract:
To overcome the lack of novel antimicrobial substances, we developed a microfluidic platform based on a two-phase segmented flow which enables high-throughput-screening for antibiotic substances. Core of the platform is a new microfluidic chip that allows implementation of two different screening approaches, based on actinomycetes spores and a bead-bound oligopeptide library, respectively.
