Abstract:
We report, for the first time, pattern-effect free wavelength conversion in a QD-SOA at 160 Gb/s in Cband. Very fast (10ps) 85% gain recovery and the use of a slightly detuned blue-shifted filter allow highly efficient XGM wavelength conversion.
