In this paper, we discuss the opportunity of using TV broadcasting signals for goals parasitic radiolocation. We considered one of probable geometric situation of construction of such SAR system. For this geometry, calculation of the basic characteristics of system, such as the spatial resolution and ambiguity function of a signal has been made. In calculations as a probing signal was used the simulator of the waveform of TV broadcasting signal standard SECAM. Also, we made an estimation of influence of informative contents of transmitted programs on the basic parameters of quality SAR of system.
