Abstract:
SAR image synthesis with wider bandwith (hence range resolution) require sharing the computation in sub-bands because antenna pattern varies within the bandwidth. Furthermore the wide integration in azimuth requires wide antenna pattern hence interactions with the carrier aircraft body. We present here the computation in sub-bandwidth by concurrent processes and sharing of the mocomp time-variation by concurrent threads within each process. This organising is adapted to the present tendency to increase the number of cores without significant increase in each core velocity.
