Abstract:
Much interest is continuing to grow in the advanced differential tomography framework which crosses differential SAR interferometry with 3D multibaseline tomography, producing ‘space-time’ signatures of scattering dynamics in the SAR cell. In this paper, the important effect of temporal decorrelation during the repeat pass multibaseline acquisition is analyzed on superresolution (MUSIC) tomography. Moreover, a differential tomographic processor is proposed to get the new functionalities of forest volume tomography robust to temporal decorrelation, and of subcanopy ground subsidence monitoring. To this aim, a generalized MUSIC method matched to non line spectra is adapted to the 2-D domain. Simulated and first airborne real data results prove the concept.
