Abstract:
In this paper a system of characteristic numbers is presented, which is used to determine the performance of an RFID system. Different approaches to measure the performance of RFID systems are discussed and the necessity for the new proposal is stated. Characteristic numbers are defined based on the desired application. Finally, a characteristic number called communication security CS can be used for selection decisions.
