Abstract:
In this work a method for detecting building edges in urban areas exploiting SAR complex data has been proposed. The method exploits GMRF theory and statistical estimation. An already presented technique has proven to achieve interesting results working both with L-band and X-band data sets. In this work, we propose the extension of the method in order to exploit multi-baseline stacks. This extension allows the method to become more robust, in particular with respect to decorrelation problems typical of X-band data sets. This makes the technique suitable for new high resolution SAR sensors.
