Abstract:
Developments are underway of advanced interferometric SAR methods for sensing of complex urban scenarios with “garbled” layover scatterers mapped in the SAR cell. Multibaseline 3D SAR Tomography is a promising technique in this field. The Tomo framework has been also integrated with the Differential Interferometry concept, producing the innovative “4D Differential Tomography” imaging mode, enabling deformation motion monitoring in the complex garbled areas. Recently, 3/4-D imaging has been extended to single-look height superresolution light-burden processing. In this work, further algorithm improvements and first validations are presented of these efficient techniques, with ERS data. Tests are also extended of the “5D” version of this Differential Tomography processing, handling non-uniform motions. Moreover, first superresolution 3/4-D imaging tests with COSMO-SkyMed data are reported, extending the previous first trials.
