Abstract:
It is shown that some parameters of a convoy of land vehicles (forward velocity and positions of vehicles) can be retrieved from the Doppler information of the individual vehicle. Although the technique shown has some relation to inverse SAR its application will be merely in the search mode of real-aperture radar. Some numerical results illustrate the principle. Handling the left-right ambiguity is an open issue.
