This paper compares the channel correlation of real multi-channel land data with real multi-channel sea data. Differences are pointed out and decorrelation effects are analyzed for both data sets. Further, the eigenvalues of the clutter covariance matrix in Doppler domain are examined. Eigenvalues of sea clutter are compared to the eigenvalues of land clutter and the differences are analyzed.
