Abstract:
The bistatic downward-looking SAR with geostationary illuminator and LEO receiver is different from the bistatic forward-looking SAR with geostationary illuminator and UAV receiver in geometry configuration and is also different from the airborne bistatic SAR. The paper combines its downward-looking configuration characteristic with an ellipsoid geometry and adopts Nelder-Mead based method to detect ambiguous scattering points in the scene. The simulation results for different size of scene and different moving-direction (especially the horizontal baseline direction) of LEO receiver have been given and several important conclusions have been obtained from these results.
