Abstract:
For high speed moving targets, high order terms of phase after radar echo signal processing in the range are no longer tiny so that they can not be ignored. Thus, the traditional R-D algorithm can not get high quality ISAR images. The blemish also exists in ISAR imaging for bistatic radar. This paper analyses theoretically every phase term which may deteriorate the azimuth imaging, and then proposes a method to compensate the quadratic term by using Discrete Chirp Fourier Transformation (DCFT) in the bistatic radar. Lastly, simulated results are shown to validate the theory.
