Abstract:
Lq regularization based radar imaging is a novel imaging strategy based on compressive sensing. Most current work on CS based imaging radar uses the traditional chirp signal as the transmitting waveform. In this paper, we suggest that there exist better alternative waveforms. In particular, we compare three types of waveforms, including chirp signal, orthogonal signals and OFDM signals, and analyze their performances via simulations. Furthermore, if the Lq based strategy and orthogonal/OFDM waveforms are applied, the radar platform can be stationary. Simulation results of the non-moving platform imaging radar are also provided.
