Abstract:
The fast switching semiconductors of a power converter cause conducted emissions. The variation of the switching behavior shows the influence of these conducted emissions of the converter. By an analysis of several measurements it is possible to determine the transfer behavior of the system. By using these parameters considering the spectral analysis of the switching waveforms it is possible to predict converter EMI. This paper shows the influence of the switching waveforms of semiconductors on conducted emissions in simulation and measurement.
