Abstract:
An architecture for a highly linear subcarrier transmission scheme in the millimeter wave range is presented based on a phase modulated Radio-over-Fiber link. The influence of the receiver bandwidth on the spurious free dynamic range is discussed as well as the effect of phase noise on the proposed link architecture. Broadband data transmission of 20 Gbps using two subcarriers modulated with 16-QAM is shown to underline the potential of this concept for future broadband wireless access.
