Tunable Delay Line Based on Fourier-transformation and Linear Phase Modulation with High Time-Bandwidth Product

We recruit basic properties of Fourier transformation to realize an electrically tunable delay line and increase the delay by creating a loop in the structure. The proposed method has been experimentally tested and verified for up to 5 roundtrips. The relative delay/advancement was increased up to 5 times compared to the original setup while preserving the original setup’s advantages.
