Abstract:
Business and tariff models for smart homes have to be designed with aim to reduce the initial costs as well as simplify creating it. The appropriate tariff model should consider home users’ attitudes and behaviour that are subject to changes. In this process of tariff determining users should be given all necessary personal and statistical information on their usage. In this paper we propose two possible solutions for tariff setting: demand response model and responsive pricing model.
