Abstract:
Multiscroll chaotic attractors have been a widely researched field of study. In these studies, various multiscroll structures have been obtained by using different nonlinear functions including quasi-linear, PWL and trigonometric functions. Recently, an interesting n-scroll chaos generator has been theoretically introduced in literature. This generator is based on State Controlled-Cellular Neural Network (SC-CNN) and uses both a PWL function and a trigonometric function for generating multiscrolls. Although this model has been theoretically introduced, any experimental verification study is not reported and any hardware solution is not proposed. In this study, by using a programmable hardware, we aim to verify the n-scroll dynamics of SC-CNN based multiscroll generator. Experimental results agree with the results of numerical mode ling, and also show the efficieny of the implementation method.
