Abstract:
The paper deals with the possibility to apply the PSpice simulator as a verification tool for SMPS design with the Internet-based platform PowerEsim. The advantages and some lacks of PowerEsim are considered and PSpice is seen as a tool to fill these lacks. An example of Full bridge DC-DC converter synthesized in PowerEsim and simulated in PSpice is used to illustrate the advantages of a combined PowerEsim synthesized – PSpice verified SMPS design.
