Abstract:
A highly integrated and touchscreen-based console as a central control element for the “Innotruck” was developed. The console, together with the innovative sphere-sidesticks. enables an intuitive control over the world first drive-by-wire hybrid truck. The driver is supported through prioritizing the information feed on the one side, and a maneuver and parking assistance on the other. Integration of additional driver assistance systems is currently being researched and implemented.
