Abstract:
Nowadays there is a big effort to reduce the CO2 emissions. In areas like Middle East, Africa and Asia a lot of Diesel-Gensets generate mainly the power of Off-Grid Telco sites. A Clean Power Site project provides cutting edge green technology, core technologies and know-how for a carbon emissions free power supply as a 100% self-sufficient energy solution in terms of an Off-Grid operating system. Its power levels are based purely on renewable energy sources. This project is a state of the art, modular demonstrator for an off-grid application using multiple sources of power generation and storage. The Clean Power Site will reduce carbon emissions by up to several hundred tons per year compared to conventional solutions based on fossil energy sources.
